Easily one of the best minivans that has come out of the GM factory, the 2005 Chevrolet Uplander continues to meet the high standards that GM has set for its best-selling minivan range. It is an ideal replacement for the company’s Venture series, and an excellent long-distance vehicle.
Though it is a minivan, it’s long nose and truck type styling makes it look more like an SUV, giving it a more rugged reputation and a flexible feature list. Available in the base model with s V-6 3.5 liter 200 horsepower engine, the 2005 Uplander also features an optional towing package that allows one to tow up to 3,500 pounds.
In-cabin entertainment is great, with a year’s subscription to GM’s OnStar tele-aid service, a unique PhatNoise removable hard disk drive that allows you to load songs, pictures and video very conveniently and a DVD entertainment system. The 2005 Chevrolet Uplander offers excellent value for money, and is loaded with practical features.
